This correspondence is letters to Ronalds from various correspondents, mainly dealing with aspects of meteorology and magnetism, and the affairs of the Observatory at Kew. There is considerable technical discussion of self-registration by photography, bifilar magnets, atmospheric electricity; and a number of orders and accounts relating to equipment made for Ronalds. There is also a considerable amount of correspondence concerning equipment sent to the Toronto Observatory.
